I am morally opposed to paying traffic tickets. It might sound silly, but I just think that the fact that tickets are used only to generate revenue is messed up. And anyhow, the entire Los Angeles Police Department is so corrupt, I don’t want to help them in any way, whether the revenue is for them or otherwise. So, yes. I am morally opposed to paying traffic tickets.
Naturally, being morally opposed, I have since been saddled with a bunch of them ever since taking up that moral stance. Funny how things work out. Well, I don’t want to pay them, but I sure as anything don’t want to end up arrested for something dumb like that, so I went to the lawyers at Fix Your Traffic Ticket and asked them for help.
They were fantastic. Not only were their fees nominal, but they seriously kicked butt in court for me! I didn’t have to pay a single one of those tickets; even though I’m pretty sure I deserved a few of them. They really did a nice job standing up for me in court and I guess the judge just wasn’t as passionate as I was.
I’m so happy I was able to stand my moral ground throughout this. It can be difficult to have such views about the police in the face of so many people singing their praises for “protecting and serving” or whatever. Not me. I know the truth and I am going to fight for that truth in whatever way I can manage.
